Owing to a change in the plans for the reception of Marshal Foch at the University on Monday, the following arrangements have now been made. Marshal Foch will arrive in Cambridge shortly before 4 o'clock and will go immediately to Sanders Theatre for the academic exercises there. Because of the limited capacity of the theatre, undergraduates and other students will not be admitted. At the conclusion of these exercises, the Marshal will proceed to Widener Library, escorted by a mounted detachment from the Field Artillery Unit. The Marshal and his party will stand on the steps of the Library while a battery from the Field Artillery Unit fires a salute of 19 guns. Undergraduates and students from the various graduate schools will be drawn up under the direction of their respective marshals to welcome the great Frenchman.
Yesterday afternoon President Lowell received a message from the American Legion Committee of Reception to Marshal Foch, stating that the Marshal's health would not permit him to make an address to the students of the University when he comes here. It was for this reason that a change in plans was necessary.
