P. B. H. DRIVE TO CONTINUE

$1001 Turned in Last Night But Special Collectors Will Canvass Territory Next Week Not Already Covered

Collectors last evening turned $1001.00 in contributions over to B. de L. Nash '23, chairman of the Phillips Brooks House drive for $5000,00 which opened last Monday. The total results of the drive are not yet ready to be announced, because all dormitories have not yet been heard from. Collectors report very few refusals, but the drive failed to reach $5000.00 last evening because too many who were able to give $5.00 or $10.00 contributions, gave very little.

The territory which has not yet been covered will be turned over to special solicitors who will report the result the end of next week, when it is hoped the $5000.00 will be reached. Collectors assigned entries in the Freshman Dormitories report that the class of 1925 gave as generously, if not more, than any other class in the University. Some of the entries in the Dormitories yielded more than $100.00 each. In almost no case did, a man working his way through College refuse to donate to Phillips Brooks House.
