MAJESTIC ENTERTAINS WELL

To those who go to the theatre solely to be amused, to have their laughter evoked by able comedians, to feast their eyes on girls, costumes and scenery, all of a high order, to hear light and witty songs well rendered, we heartily recommend the bill at the Majestic Theatre this week. The acts were varied, and of high quality; the music was catchy, well sung, and pleasant to hear; and what is most important, and most unusual in vaudeville, the girls were all good looking.

Joe Jackson, in his well-known character of a half-witted tramp, kept the audience convulsed without speaking a word, by attempting to steal a bicycle. The Ziegler sisters in their dance act set an example which might well be followed by other stage dancers. The Century Revue, with Jimmy Hussey, was well executed, and was the one thing necessary to complete a well rounded-out program.
