To the Editors of the CRIMSON:

The Council of the Graduate Schools Society of Phillips Brooks House voted unanimously Tuesday evening to urge through the columns of the CRIMSON every Graduate Student to support the Harvard College Student Council in the Hoover Drive to the limit of his means and influence.

This call to save the lives of children who will die unless we personally help them is so urgent that we feel that no matter how much each member of the Graduate Schools Society has already given, he will contribute again beyond the point of hardship to himself. Nor do we forget that here is the greatest opportunity possible for creating that confidence in the spirit of genuine good-will by which alone the world can be rescued from its dangerous condition.

In the hope that the magnitude of the human need will be matched by the magnitude of the response to Mr. Hoover's appeal from every department of Harvard University.
