RHODES APPLICATIONS MUST BE IN TOMORROW

BLANKS OBTAINABLE AT U. 5

All applications from members of the University for Rhodes Scholarships at Oxford must be in the hands of President Lowell at University 5 before 5 o'clock tomorrow. These applications may be made either by letter or on blanks especially for the purpose, which may be obtained at University 5. In case his petition is successful, the student will be notified, and should then fill out a completed application, which must reach the Secretary of the State Committee on Selection in the state in which the candidate wished to compete, by August 14. Final selections will be announced on or about September 25.

The American Secretary for the Rhodes Scholarship Trust, Professor Frank Aydelotte, A.M. '03, of the Institute of Technology, calls attention to the fact that since the 1920 memorandum of regulations for the Rhodes Scholarships was printed, the University of Oxford has abolished the requirement of the Greek language for admission and for all degrees.
