Brown will be the opponent of the University nine on Soldiers Field at 3 o'clock this afternoon. The Brunonians come from Providence with a fresh team, only two of the nine men having opposed the University in the Memorial Day game last year. Coulter, who played at second base will again hold down the keystone sack, while Peckham, who last year played in the field, is now first-baseman.

Felton, who was on the mound against Brown, will today be replaced by Harrison. The latter has pitched in one game only since the Dartmouth contest, that with Williams. Jones, who crashed through with a home run on Wednesday, will continue at the initial sack.

Holy Cross Trims Brown Thrice

Holy Cross, which went down to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of the Crimson on Wednesday, has three times trampled on Brown this spring. The Brown players

have been very erratic in their games so far, and have not yet recovered from their unsteadiness. Wesleyan was shut out 2-0 by nearly airtight ball, but Brown's other opponents have come up against a very ragged resistance. Weakness at bat, especially in pinches, has accounted for most of Brouno's reverses, while loose fielding has not bolstered up the erratic pitching force
