SECOND CHANGE IN SEATING OF CREWS MADE FOR HENLEY

ANNUAL SPRING RACES ARE PLANNED FOR REST OF WEEK

As the three University crews rowed yesterday there were changes in the line-ups of all the boats and some changes in seating. M. E. Olmsted '21 was shifted back to 6 on A from 6 on B, and Sherman Damon '21 went down from 3 on A to bow on crew B. Within the shell L. B. McCagg '22, R. K. Kane '22 and L. Terry '22 were each shifted one seat toward the bow, so that they are now rowing at 3, 4 and 5 respectively.

One man was brought up to the second crew, S. A. Duncan '22 coming from stroke of C to seat 6 on B. J. N. Borland '21, who was rowing at 5 on B, was moved to stroke of the third eight, being displaced by H. R. Atkinson '21, who in turn was shifted from bow to make room for Damon. R. M. Sedgwick '21 has been given a few days' lay-off and his place in the third shell has been taken by Howard Townsend '22.

The new-line-ups follow:

University A--Bow, Davis; 2, Lothrop; 3, Kane; 4, McCagg; 5, Terry; 6, Olmsted; 7, Burden; stroke, Jenney; coxswain, Pierson.

University B--Bow, Damon; 2, Bradlee; 3, Appleton; 4, C. F. Batchelder Jr.; 5, Atkinson; 6, Duncan; 7, Pond; stroke, H. Brown; coxswain, Williams.

University C--Bow, C. Cabot; 2, Withington; 3, LaFarge; 4, G. Batchelder; 5, Townsend; 6, Morris; 7, Hull; stroke, Borland; coxswain, Steedman.

Annual Spring Regatta Starts Today

Four events are on the program of races for the first day of the four-day spring regatta which starts today. At 4 o'clock the first school fours will race, and at half-hour intervals will come the race of the second school fours; the Junior singles race and the Senior singles race, in that order. A race of centipede crews is tentatively planned for 6 o'clock of these eight-men crews, each man pulling two oars, the first is led by Amory Houghton '21, the second by J. W. Watson '22.

Six schools have entered crews in the race for first school fours and five of them have also entered their second fours. They are Brookline High School, Browne and Nichols, Boston College High School, Cambridge High and Latin School, English High School and Huntington School. All of these but Boston College High School have entered in the second school fours race. Races will be over the mile and seven-eighths course in the Basin. The feature event on tomorrow's program will be the race for Senior eights over the same course, taking place at 6 o'clock. In this are entered the Union Boat Club crew, the M. I. T. crew and the three University eights.
