Rowing an excellent race over the half-mile course at Concord, the Middlesex four-oar crew led the 1923 four-oar by three lengths in the race held Saturday; the second Freshman four defeated the third Middlesex crew by two-thirds of a length. The time of the first crew's race was very nearly the record for the course, as they crossed the finish line in 2 minutes and 44 seconds after the start. The Crimson quartet's time was 10 seconds slower. In the second race the 1923 four covered the course in 2 minutes and 57 seconds, while the Middlesex crew crossed the line two seconds later. Both the races were well rowed, the second crew in particular showing good form. The line-ups follow:
