The twelfth annual concert of the Musical Club of the University will be given tonight in the John Knowles Paine Concert Hall of the Music Building, at 8 o'clock. This concert is open to the public and is given for the benefit of the Boston Music School Settlement and the South End Music School. The program will be featured by original compositions by members of the Musical Club, while the rest of the varied numbers will be classical pieces.
A quintet of flute, clarinet, viola, 'cello and pianoforte, will present a piece written by Randall Thompson '20. Another novelty will be two solos by R. N. Dett, Sp., composed by himself. Two other interesting numbers will be the String Quartet in E-flat major by Mozart, and a sonata for flute, violin and piano by Gluck.
