THE CRIMSON PLAY-GOER

ON THE NEW YORK STAGE

For those who are seeking week-end entertainment in New York, Cecil Lean's amusing musical comedy, "Look Who's Here," at the Forty-fourth street Theatre offers lively amusement. Cecil Lean has never been more diverting than in the leading comedy role of this melodious production. He has excellent support from a large company headed by Cleo Mayfield, and assisted by an unusually attractive chorus. This performance will not be seen in any other city this season.

"Mamma's Affair," the 47 Workshop prize play at the Fulton is a delightfully refreshing change from the monotony of the usual run of plotless and pointless comedies. It is a clever farce, well-acted and well staged, dealing with a young physician's unique treatment of difficult "Mamma," who is always worrying about her health.
