Compete for Lee Wade Speaking Prizes in Sanders Theatre at 8

The prize speaking contest for the Lee Wade II Prizes will be held this evening at 8 o'clock in Sanders Theatre. The public, as well as all members of the University are invited.

These prizes, founded in 1915 by Dr. Henry Wade of Cambridge in memory of his son, Lee Wade, 2nd, of the class of 1914, are "awarded annually--one First Prize of $25; one Second Prize of $15; and one Third Prize of $10--to those students of the Sophomore, Junior and Senior Classes who, after having recited a selection in poetry or prose which shall be chosen by the donor or those appointed by him, shall be deemed to have won said First, Second and Third Prizes in their respective order of merit."

The selection chosen for this year will be Robert Browning's poem, "How They Brought the Good News from Ghent to Aix."
