The Lee Wade II Prize Contest will be held this year in Sanders Theatre, Wednesday, March 31, at 8 o'clock. The competition is open to members of the Sophomore, Junior, and Senior Classes. Three prizes will be awarded, a first or $25, a second prize of $15, and a third prize of $10. Browning's poem "How They. Brought the Good News from Ghent to Aix" has been selected as the piece to be recited.
These prizes were founded in 1915 by Dr. Henry Wade, of Cambridge, in memory of his son Lee Wade 11 '14. The income of the endowment is awarded annually "to those students of the Sophomore, Junior, and Senior classes, who after having recited a selection of poetry of prose which shall be chosen by the donor or those appointed by him shall be deemed to have won" the prizes.
