ALL-STAR HOOKEY TEAM IS TO BE CHOSEN THIS WEEK

Aggregation Which Will Go to Olympic Try-Outs Will Meet University Next Saturday.

This week two elimination hockey games will be played at the Ice Pavilion for the purpose of selecting the best eight men to represent Boston in the Olympic try-outs at Pittsburg next week. The team which is chosen will meet the University sextet in the Pavilion on Saturday night.

Tomorrow night Team A, lead by Jack Hutchinson, will meet Harry Murchie's Team B. The judges who will analyze the work are Alfred Winsor '02, former University coach, and George V. Brown of the National Hockey Association.

The division of the players into two groups, Teams A and B, is merely to distinguish the teams and means nothing as to their respective ability. In selecting the players judges Brown and Winsor will consider these qualifications; Speed, stick-handling, team-work, condition, ability to shoot, ability to check back, and gameness.

Games Tomorrow and Friday.

The elimination games will be held tomorrow and Friday nights, and the selection will be announced after the second game. The team which is picked will meet the University sextet on Saturday.

For Team A, captained by Jack Hutchinson, the following line-up is announced:

Goal, Donahue, Dartmouth Club, and Lacroix, B.A.A.; point, Tuck, Dartmouth Club; cover-point, O'Sullivan, B.A.A., and A. F. Doty '16, Harvard Club; right wing, G. A. Percy '17, Harvard Club, and Rice, B. A. A.; centre, Hutchinson, B.A.A., left wing; Downing, B.A.A.

Team B comprises: Goal, J. I. Wylde '17, Harvard Club, and Buttrick, B.A.A.; point, Murchie, Dartmouth Club and Small, unattached; cover-point, Skilton, unattached, and Wendell, B.A.A.; right wing, Synnot, unattached, and Geran, B.A.A.; centre, Murphy, Dartmouth Club, and Sands, Yankee Division; left wing, Holmes, Dartmouth Club, and A. H. Bright '14, Harvard Club.

In the foregoing Team B has 12 men to try out, while Team A has only nine on this list. This gives Hutchinson's men more of a chance to show, because less substitution will be necessary. It is likely, however, that the list will be revised before tomorrow's game so that players on each team will have an even chance to display their ability.
