Another call for workers has been received by the Social Service Committee of the Phillips Brooks House Association. The Massachusetts General Hospital needs thirty college men to assist in the wards for several hours a week. The experience which students in the University could secure in this work is valuable.
One of the most interesting and important positions which must be filled is that of Clinical Secretary in the Out-Patient Department. This secretary's chief duty is to record a description of each case and to have general supervision of the patients while they are at the hospital.
Orderlies are needed in the Male Medical Department of the hospital. These men take care of the patients, carrying out the doctor's directions.
In addition there is the need for an Assistant Photographer and an X-ray dark room man. For people interested in photography, these two positions offer many opportunities to gain additional experience.
