All men in the University who are interested in aviation have been invited to attend the Harvard Aeronautical Society smoker which will be held in the Quiet Room of the Union at 7.30 o'clock tonight. Major L. H. Drennan, air service officer attached to the Northeastern Department of the United States Army, will discuss the Army reorganization activities, and Major MacDill, who is studying various phases of military aeronautics at M. I. T. will speak. The officers of the club will outline plans for the winter and spring. Cigarettes and refreshments will be served.
The Harvard Aeronautical Society, which was founded in 1908, is one of the oldest aviation organizations of its kind in the country. From experimenting with the old type of glider, the society has done much interesting work with motor planes, which has culminated in the recent purchase of a seaplane and in plans to train pilots for service at Framingham.
