The University soccer team was defeated Saturday by the Princeton eleven, 5 to 1. Until the end of the scheduled periods the two teams fought to a 1 to 1 tie. Then in the two extra 10-minute sessions which followed, the Orange and Black eleven showed its superior endurance, and by scoring three goals in quick succession and one later, won the game 5 to 1.

The feature of the game was the way in which the Harvard backs, Masters, Murrey, Heat and Weaver, played together. Otis, substituting for Williams, scored the only Crimson goal.

Stinson, Princeton center forward, whose brother played end on the football team yesterday, was the individual star for the visitors. His speed and clever footwork enabled him to score four of the five goals made by his team.
