The Cemetery Course will be the scene this afternoon of two cross-country races, the first at 1.30 being the first annual Interscholastic Invitation Cross-Country. Meet under the auspices of the H. A. A., and the second a dual meet between packs representing the Freshmen and Worcester Academy.
The former race has met with a hearty response from schoolboy track athletes, especially from schools about Worcester and Providence, where hill-and-dale work is especially fostered. Of interest among the entries is Wakefield High, where Eddie Farrell turned out champions. The 13 schools listed below will enter teams of various number; the first five men to break the tape will count in the scoring, the winning team to receive a shield, and the first three finishers individual medals. The race will be over a course of 2 1-2 miles.
