James Farquarson Leys '22 has been awarded the Advocate's prize of $25 for the best story submitted in the recent contest. The second and third best stories were held by the judges to have been those submitted by D. Burden '22 and Arthur K. Train '23. The winning story will appear in the February number of the Advocate, which will be issued in about a week.

The manuscripts for the prize essay competition for a similar award must be submitted before March 10. They may be on any of the three following subjects: Education, Religion, Liberalism; and are not to exceed 2700 words in length. No contributor is limited, however, in the number of essays he may submit.

The judges are Messrs. Ellery Sedgwick '94, William Roscee Thayer '81, and Professor Irving Habbitt '89. The winning essay will be published in the April Advocate.
