DINING HALLS WELL FILLED

UNION SERVES 100 MEN AT EACH MEAL, MEMORIAL 800, FOXCROFT 350.

That the University is solving the problem of board for a large proportion of its students is indicated by the large number of undergraduates served at the various dining halls. With over 100 men appearing at each meal, the Union is making extra arrangements to accommodate the unexpectedly large number. It is believed that most of these men have been attracted by the quality of the food, and that more will take advantage of the opportunity to use the restaurant as it becomes better known.

Eight hundred students have registered at Memorial Hall during the past three days and a still larger number is expected by the management.

Club tables have been inaugurated at Memorial in order that congenial groups of students may sit together. Tables of Various sizes are available but men wishing to secure these must organize their clubs and notify the management within the next few days.

350 Patronize Foxcroft.

Three hundred and fifty men seem to prefer the cafeteria system and have chosen Foxcroft Hall as their eating place. The attendance at the two University dining halls now equals that of any normal pre-war year. It was only exceeded when the large dining rooms became the mess hall for the Naval Radio School.
