Tomorrow afternoon at 2.15 o'clock a parade will form in front of University Hall to march down to Soldiers Field for the Dartmouth baseball game. Kanrich's twelve-piece brass band has been procured to lead the procession to the ball field. All members of the University are urged to take part in the demonstration, which will be the first organized support of a University athletic team since the football season two years ago.
Upon reaching the field, the marchers will sit together in a cheering section, and will give the University songs and cheers under the leadership of C. A. Clark, Jr., '19. G. C. Barclay '19 and G. A. Brownell '19 will act as marshals for the parade.
All men who intend to march should procure their tickets in advance in order to prevent delay at the gate. By special arrangement, general admission tickets are now on sale at Leavitt & Peirce's, the H. A. A., the Harvard Club, and Wright & Ditson's Boston store, where they may be purchased for 55 cents each. Reserved seats are on sale for $1.10.
A prize of a straw hat has been offered by Durant & Co., to any member of the University nine who hits a double, a triple, or a home run in the Dartmouth game. Any man who is eligible for the prize after tomorrow's contest, may select any hat from Durant's stock.
Batting averages for all members of the University baseball squad who have played in one or more games this year have been prepared, and are printed below:
