In their first match of the season, yesterday afternoon, the University golf team was defeated by Wallaston Country Club players on the latter's course. The schedule, which includes four trips away from Boston and the vicinity, is as follows:
April 24.--Woodland Country Club, at Newton.
April 30.--Braeburn Country Club at Newton.
May 3.--Williams, at Springfield.
May 5.--Dartmouth at Boston.

May 24.--Pennsylvania, at New York, N. Y.
