Only 1500 Left in Radio School

The reduction of the enrollment in the Radio School from its former strength of over 5,000 men, to about 1,500 has made possible the vacating of Craigie, Russell, Perkins, Hastings and Divinity Halls. Of these Divinity has already been turned over to the University, and the others will be shortly.

The School will be further reduced by the discharge of 300 men during the next two weeks. The quota which then remains will probably be moved to the Great Lakes Naval Training Station the last week in April or the first week in May.

Lieutenant Commander Nathaniel F. Ayer '0, U. S. N. R. F. who has been in charge of the School since it began, has been succeeded by Commander David A. Weaver, U. S. N. Commander Ayer has been placed on the inactive list.

The Radio School publication, The Oscillator, which was first printed in October, 1917, and which has appeared every week since then, offers its "Farewell Number" this week.
