Arrangements for the Junior Dance which will take place Monday evening in the Living Room of the Union, are almost complete. At a meeting of the box chairmen held yesterday plans were made for furnishing the boxes. It was decided to have the furniture collected Monday morning, and a truck has been secured to do this, which will make the following stops: Randolph Hall, 9-9.45; 60 Mt. Auburn street, 9.45-10; Dunster Hall, 10-10.30; Smith Halls, 10.30-10.45; Claverly Hall, 11-11.15; Apley Court, 11.15-11.30; Flairfax Hall, 11.30-11.45; 2 Holyoke street, 11.45-12; 78 Mt. Auburn street, 12-12.15.
The box chairmen must have their furniture at the assigned places at the right time, and are also responsible for the arrangement of their own boxes. The Committee, however, will do the general decorating of the Union.
Each box may contain the following articles of furniture: one small, light rug, six by eight feet, one settee, one lamp, one small table, one table cover, and as many small chairs as are sufficient for the persons in the box. All furniture must be at the Union by Monday noon.
Besides the patronesses' box nineteen other boxes have been formed, lettered from A through S. Spaces for these will be marked off Sunday. The boxes will be placed around the Living Room as nearly as possible in their order in the alphabet. The boxes with their chairmen are as follows: A, J. Otis; B, G. C. Barclay; C, F. C. Lawrence; D, C. H. Watson; E, V. E. Macy, Jr.; F, S. S. Robinson; G, W. B. Plumer; H, H. DeC. Ward; I, A. E. Kirk; J, J. B. Read, Jr.; K, B. Hatton; L, S. VB. Goodstone; M, D. C. White; N, P. K. Dance programs may be obtained at the CRIMSON Building today and Monday. They will also be given out at the door Monday evening.
