FORM NEW DISCUSSION GROUPS

PROFESSORS EMERTON, FERGUSON, MORIZE AND WIENER LEADERS.

In response to the demand made by the students of the University, four new Phillips Brooks House Discussion Groups have been added to those now holding meetings. For leaders of these groups Professors Ephraim Emerton, William S. Ferguson, Andre Morize, and Leo Wiener have been secured.

Membership in these groups is open to all students in the University who have not already jointed one of the bodies which were organized two weeks ago. Registry books will be placed in the CRIMSON Building, Phillips Brooks House and the check room in Widener Library, where any student can enroll by signing his name under the leader of his choice. After the groups are organized weekly meetings of an informal nature will be held.

Professor Emerson of the Department of History is an authority on medieval and modern history. The general subject to be discussed by his group will be decided at the first meeting.

Professor Ferguson of the Department of History specializes in the conditions of southern and Eastern Europe. His general subject will be "International Politics" with special reference to the Balkan problems.

Professor Morize, late captain in the French Army, former instructor in the University R. O. T. C. is in the French Department. His general topic will be "The War and Studies."

Professor Wiener is an authority on Germanic Russian and Semitic peoples. His group will discuss "Bolshevism in Russia and America."
