NEED SOCIAL SERVICE WORKERS

ONLY 100 MEN HAVE REGISTERED AS COMPARED WITH 300 IN PAST YEARS.

If the Social Service work of Phillips Brooks House is to be carried on as successfully as in past years, a large number of new men must enroll immediately. Only one hundred men have registered this year while in years past 300 to 400 undergraduates have been actively engaged in one of the numerous branches of Social Service.

Not only has the supply diminished but the demand has increased. Many of the older men who used to do the work year after year are still in the service, and new men are needed to take their places.

The Social Service work extends to almost every district in Boston, and offers an excellent opportunity to become acquainted with the conditions of that city as well as those of Cambridge and several neighboring towns. Men may enroll with F. K. Bullard '20 at Phillips Brooks House between 8 and 10 o'clock any week day morning.
