The local campaign of the Harvard Endowment Fund was taken over yesterday by the class committees, in the hope that the remaining portion of the local quota, $2,100,000, may be secured within the next two weeks. Under the new system of solicitation, returns of the work of the class organizations are to be made frequently, and final reports handed in on December 6.
The fund crossed the $10,000,000 mark yesterday, chiefly from the subscriptions gained by New York solicitors. The Boston district added $7575 to the total.
