Ralph Horween Occ., the injured backfield man on Team A, who was hurt for the second time in the Princeton game, returned to an active participation in signal drill yesterday. Almost every day since that fierce battle he has spent the afternoon kicking goals from the field, and it is in that connection that he will probably enter the Yale game. Until a critical moment his brother, A. Horween '20, will take his berth at fullback. But when the team comes within scoring distance by a field goal, the older Horween's recent practice in that department may stand the Crimson in good stead.
The squad doctors have given out the opinion, however, that both R. Horween and J. K. Desmond Occ, will be physically fit to enter the contest on Saturday. Desmond, a 204-pounder, and probably one of the heaviest men who has ever played end, has suffered from an injured knee sustained in the Tiger game, and until yesterday had not rejoined the squad in the Stadium.

After this a strenuous combined signal drill and dummy scrimmage ensued, in which rather more tackling was allowed than in such practice before.
