In view of the fact that a new Athletic Committee will shortly be appointed by President Lowell to consider the athletic policy of the University, the Student Council last night expressed its endorsement of an early resumption of intercollegiate athletics. It was the sense of the body that the undergraduates favored a return to a system similar to that in vogue before the war. The Council therefore passed the following resolution: "Resolved: That the Student Council recommend to the Athletic Committee that college athletics be resumed on a prewar basis with as few changes as possible." It appears that the University athletic authorities are not averse to the immediate resumption of athletics, but are skeptical at putting hockey upon its formal at such short notice.
