By making late returns to the amount of $5,050, the Senior class yesterday succeeded in going "over the top" in the University Liberty Loan campaign, clearing their quota of $4,800 by more than $3,500. The Faculty, too, subscribed heavily yesterday, turning in a sum of $12,700, which brings their total up to within $2,000 of that collected from the College. The Juniors continued their purchases with a subscription of $50, while 1920 took $200 worth.
At present the College total is $61,350, an amount more than twice the quota asked for by the committee. The University's grand total now stands at $127, 200.
All men who have subscribed through the University loan committee will be notified within the next few days in what bank their funds are located, and what they must do to obtain their bonds.
