PLAN 1921 INTERDORM, HOCKEY

BLUE BOOKS POSTED.--INFORMAL TEAM WILL PLAY RADIO SCHOOL.

Freshman inter-dormitory hockey will begin officially tomorrow when all members of 1921 wishing to take part in these games will sign in blue books provided for this purpose on the bulletin boards of Smith, Standish and Gore Halls. A series of six games will be played within the next few weeks, each team opposing the two others twice. The seven having the highest percentage will be awarded the Freshman Hockey Cup for the year 1918, and the name of the winning dormitory and its captain will be placed thereon. Each member of the winning team will receive, in addition, an individual cup.

A second rink has been completed near the Charlesbank and most of the games will be played there, but whenever it is in use by other teams a lowboard rink will be put up on the river. Candidates for dormitory sevens will supply their own personal equipment.

First Informal Game Scheduled.

The first game for the informal team has been arranged for Wednesday, January 16, with the Harvard Naval Radio School. This latter organization is under the direction of T. W. Watson, coach of last year's Brookline High team, who has material for a very strong team. At their practice this afternoon, the informals will have a scrimmage with the Radio seven. W. W. Rice '18, one of the fastest University forwards, is now the left wing of the Arena septet, and played a strong game against the Navy Yard team on Saturday.

The hockey management is still leaving a date open on the 1921 schedule so that if Yale does decide to organize a yearling team, the Freshmen may be able to play them.
