1. Austin W. Scott is hereby appointed Major and assigned to the second battalion, vice W. B. Munro, on leave.

2. During February the drills of Military Science and Tactics 1 will be replaced by sections in topography, held in the University Museum from 4 to 6 P. M. Assignment is made by companies as follows:

1. Monday, Companies A, B, E.

2. Tuesday, Companies C, D, F.

3. Wednesday, Companies I, K, G.

4. Thursday, Companies L, M, H.

Cadets desiring transfer to another section are directed to apply at Headquarters on or before Monday, February 4.

3. In Military Science and Tactics 2 the course in Topography will meet on Tuesday, 4 to 6 P. M., and Thursday, 7 to 8 P. M. (except that it will meet on March 5, 7 to 8 P. M., and March 7, 4 to 6 P. M.)

4. The following changes are hereby made in Section Instructors: Major Lane is appointed Instructor of Section 7d, Lieut. Hersey is detailed as Regimental Librarian, G. P. Drury is appointed Instructor of Section 5e, Lieut. Peabody is detailed to report to the Staff variations from the schedule.

5. The following appointments in C Company are made effective this date: 2nd Lieut. H. F. Hardaway to be 1st Lieut., vice Peet, on probation; Sgt. J. Gaston to be 2nd Lieut., vice Hardaway, promoted. PERCY W. LONG,   Captain and Adjutant.
