Communication

Discharged Without Honor.

(We invite all men in the University to submit communications on subjects of timely interest, but assume no responsibility for sentiments expressed under this head.)

To the Editors of the CRIMSON:

I am sorry that it is necessary to call your attention to a very serious error in one of your editorials of yesterday, January 24. You stated that two members of the Harvard Reserve Officers' Training Corps had been dishonorably discharged from the Corps. Neither of these men was dishonorably discharged. They were both discharged without honor. The distinction of course is far from being a merely technical one. The error is the more serious because it was copied by some of the Boston newspapers AUSTIN W. SCOTT, Disciplinary Officer, Harvard R. O. T. C.
