COMMENT

Despite the losses already occasioned in Cambridge, Harvard goes indomitable on with the encouragement of registration in courses which will give students particular training for war. The war has not decreased the need of the college man. It has greatly increased it. To all men remaining in the academic life of the country there has come as direct a challenge to hold to their educational work as any that has come to the country for war. --Boston Transcript.
