UNION TO HOLD ELECTION OF 1917-18 OFFICERS TODAY

POLLS OPEN FROM 8 TO 4

The election of the officers and committeemen of the Union for the year 1917-18 will be held today. Besides the vice-president and secretary, six members of the Governing Board, of whom at least two must be graduates, will be elected; and there are seven members of the Library Committee to be chosen at least three of whom must be graduates. The polls at the Union will remain open from 8 to 4 o'clock. All active and associate members as well as all life members are eligible to vote. There are two nominations for vice-president, two for secretary, 15 for members of the Governing Board, and 11 for members of the Library Committee.

The nominations are as follows:

President: Major Henry Lee Higginson '55, of Boston.

Vice-president: David Mason Little, Jr., '18, of Salem; George Richmond Walker '18, of Brookline.

Secretary: Lloyd Kirkham Garrison '19, of New York City; Frederick Marcus Warburg '19, of New York City.
