FIRST WHITING CONCERT TONIGHT

Violin, Horn and Pianoforte Selections Will Compose Program.

The first concert in the series of Expositions of Chamber Music for 1917-18 by Mr. Arthur Whiting will take place in the John Knowles Paine Concert Hall of the Music Building this evening at 8.15 o'clock. It will be open without admission charge to officers and students of the University and to members of the Naval Radio School and the Naval Cadet School. The following program will be presented by Mr. Whiting at the pianoforte, assisted by Mr. Arkady Bourstin, violin, and Mr. Louis Sperandei, horn: (Horn and Pianoforte). Romanze and Rondo from Horn Concerto,  Mozart (Violin) Sonata,  Porpora (Pianoforte) Capriccio, Op. 76,  Brahms (Horn, Violin and Pianoforte). Trio in E-Flat, Op. 40,  Brahms

According to the schedule which has been completed, concerts will also be given by Mr. Whiting in the John Knowles Paine Concert Hall of the Music Building on Thursday evenings, December 20, January 24, February 14, and March 28.

Dr. Davison's series of organ recitals are also being held, as in previous years, in the various chapels of the University.
