The printing of articles selected from outside publications has been instituted in the editorial columns of the CRIMSON, because such articles ought to be of interest to members of the University. The CRIMSON never professes that the sentiments of these comments necessarily express the beliefs or opinions of the undergraduate body. Therefore the writer of today's communication unfortunately has misunderstood the object of the comment on Mr. Bertrand Russell. The sentiment expressed by the Transcript was interesting, but the CRIMSON by no means printed it as that held by the undergraduate body.
