In the straw ballot presidential election held by the CRIMSON yesterday, Theodore Roosevelt '80 received the highest number of votes, with a total of 660. Woodrow Wilson ran a strong second, receiving '591 votes, and Justice Charles E. Hughes received the third largest number with 348. A total of 1788 votes were cast, 52 of these being unsigned.

With 660 votes of the 1736 cast, Roosevelt gets about 34 per cent, of the entire vote. By dividing the votes into parties, the Republicans get a large majority, with 1119 of the 1788 votes cast. The remaining votes are divided among the parties as follows: Democrats, 596; Socialists, 21; and unsigned votes not counted, 52.
