The University crew divided in two yesterday afternoon and the bow four raced the stern. The result was dead heat, but since the stern got the jump at the start the decision was awarded to them. University B again rowed in singles and racing pair-oars, not yet resuming their regular work. The Freshman eight went through its usual routine.

In an exciting race the 1919 four lost to Pomfret School at Pomfret by the narrow margin of a quarter length. The Freshman got the jump at the start and maintained their lead until the last 200 yards. When the schoolboys set a pace which the University yearlings could not keep up with. At the finish the Pomfret boat swept across the line in record time for that courses, 2 minutes 51 seconds.

A scrub crew of University oarsmen rowed the Middlesex School eight on the river yesterday afternoon. Getting the lead at the start they kept it to the last, overcoming their rivals by about one-half length.
