To date more than 130 men have signed up as being interested in the Naval Training Cruise for Civilians this summer. Any men wishing information on the trip may obtain information by signing up in the blue-books at Leavitt & Peirce's, the Freshman Dormitories, the Union, and Memorial Hall, or by calling at the headquarters of the undergraduate committee, 1280 Massachusetts avenue, any day between 1.30 and 2.30 o'clock.
Men who wish to enroll for the Cruise, which will be held from August 15 to September 12, must sign up at 146 Tremont street, Boston.
The work being done to enlist men from the University in the Summer Cruise has been appreciated by the Navy Department at Washington, as shown by the following letter addressed to a member of the undergraduate committee:

Gentlemen:
The attention of the Department has been called to the patriotic spirit of your committee, and your earnest endeavors to promote interest in the Naval Training Cruise for Civilians among your fellow students, and to secure recruits for the same.
Your action in the matter has the unqualified approval of the Department, and I wish to commend you for the interest which you have shown in this important movement for preparedness.
Your attention is invited to the Qualifications for Enrolment and the object of the Cruise, as outlined in the enclosed circular.
