There are 14 more commissioned officers to be appointed. There are also more vacancies for positions of sergeants and corporals. These appointments will be given to privates, corporals, or sergeants who show the desire and ability to fill such positions.
Captain Schindel, of the General Staff, U. S. Army, in compliance with Orders from the War Department, will inspect the Regiment next Sunday. He will attend the march and manoeuvres, and will base his report largely on the percentage of attendance, so that it is of the utmost importance that every man attend if the Regiment is to be continued next year.
Mr. E. D. Brandegee '81 has generously offered to furnish a substantial dinner to every member of the Regiment at Brookline on Sunday.
