Moseley Taylor '18, who has been holding down the Number 4 position in the University boat, is out for several days with an injured hand. N. P. Darling '17 was put in his place temporarily, but it has now been denfiitely decided to move up K. P. Culbert '17, number 6 in Crew C, to that position until the return of Taylor.
To conform with this change, some shifts will be made today in the third eight. L. S. Chichester '16 will go from 2 to 4, displacing A. W. Pope '18, who will move to 6, N. P. Darling '17 assuming Culbert's former position.
Today's practice consisted in a long row, typical of those which have characterized the campaign in preparation for the race against Cornell. The men are being trained for endurance, and under this strenuous regime are showing signs of improvement.
R. S. Emmet returned today to his position at stroke in the Freshman boat, replacing W. C. Chanler, who is shifted back to the second boat.
