1. Arrangements have been made to permit of a limited target practice at the Bay State Rifle Range, Wakefield, Mass., on Monday afternoons, commencing May 1, 1916.
2. Any member of the Regiment who desires to avail himself of this opportunity should hand in his name at Regimental Headquarters as soon as practicable.
3. This target practice is voluntary, and in order to avail themselves of the same, members of the Regiment must devote at least five (5) hours' time to the preliminary instruction necessary for target practice.
4. Those desiring this special preliminary instruction should report to the non-commissioned officer in charge at the Armory at 10 A. M., or at 1.30 P. M., on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
5. Those who first complete the preliminary instruction will be placed on the list for the actual target practice.
6. The ammunition, targets, etc., will be furnished without expense to individual members, who will, however, be required to pay their own fare to and from Wakefield.
7. Lieutenant Edwards, assisted by Sergeant Flowers, 30th U. S. Infantry, will conduct the practice at the rifle range.
Rifles are ready to be signed for by the members of the second battalion. All members should call at Headquarters of at the Armory to sign up.
A letter has been received at Regimental Headquarters from the treasurer of the Military Training Camps Association stating that the association is helping students who need financial assistance in order to attend the summer military training camps, and that it will be willing, if able to raise the funds; to help University students living in Pennsylvania, east of the Alleghenies. The names of those students desiring this financial help will be sent to the association, which will act on them if possible.
