About fifty men are needed to remove the cosmoline and clean the rifles of the Regiment, so they will be ready for use next month.
All men who desire to volunteer for this work should do so immediately by reporting at Weld 3, and specifying the hours which they may devote to this work. It will also serve as instruction for the individual on how to care for a rifle and in learning something about the nomenclature of the piece.
