Dramatic Candidates Out Monday

The trials for candidates for parts in the four plays selected by the Dramatic Club for their spring production have been postponed from this afternoon until Monday, on which day they will be held in the Trophy Room of the Union from 2 until 5 o'clock. Candidates must sign up for trials in the blue-book at Leavitt and Peirce's. Each candidate will be expected to bring a selection, the reading or recitation of which will not occupy more than five minutes. There are in all eight male parts in the spring plays. Two complete casts will, for a while, be retained for each.

The competition for the business department of the Dramatic Club will begin Monday evening at 7.30 o'clock at which time all candidates should report at 22 Dunster Hall. The competition will be short and interesting, the work consisting largely in ticket handling and the securing of advertisements for the program. The work offers a good chance for business training, as it brings the candidates into contact with the large firms of Boston. Three men will probably be taken into the Club from the competition this spring.
