After a comparison of the merits of the players on the various collegiate hockey teams that the University seven has met this season, the CRIMSON has made the following selections for a first and second all-intercollegiate team. The selections are, however, based entirely on those teams which have played the University.
FIRST TEAM.
Left wing, Holmes (Dartmouth); centre, Burgess (Yale); rover, G. A. Percy '18; right wing, Gould (Yale); cover-point, A. F. Doty '16; point, J. E. P. Morgan '17; goal, J. I. Wylde '17.
SECOND TEAM.
Left wing, Hills (Princeton); centre, L. Curtis '16; rover, Peacock (Princeton); right wing; T. C. Thacher '18; cover-point, Murray (Yale); point, J. Humphreys (Princeton); goal, York (Yale).
J. S. Babbitt, of the Cornell seven, was a strong contender for the position of rover on the second team, but although a faster skater, is not the equal of Peacock in stick-work and shooting ability. C. D. Dickey, of Yale, is an excellent player at centre, but inferior to Curtis in both speed and stick-work, although he can better be relied upon to play his position.
