The competition for the literary and business ends of the Monthly will begin next Monday night at 7.30 in the Monthly offices in the top of the Union.
The literary editors' competition is run on a point system, six points being necessary before being considered for election to the board.
Business candidates are expected to solicit advertisements and subscriptions and to perform a certain amount of clerical work.
Miss Amy Lowell, the head of the New England School of "vers libre," will speak to the candidates, and the president of the board will outline the competition.
