CHRISTMAS SERVICES NEXT WEEK

Yule-Tide Music to be Presented in Appleton December 20 and 21.

In accordance with the precedent established in 1914, the annual Christmas service in Appleton Chapel will be held on two evenings, December 20 and 21 at 815 o'clock. The Reverend Edward Caldwell Moore, chairman of the Board of Preachers, will conduct both services. Under the direction of Dr. A. T. Davison '06, organist and choir-master, a program of Christmas music will be presented by the Appleton Chapel choir, assisted by the Choral Society of Radcliffe College.

No one will be admitted to the Chapel except members of the University and of Radcliffe College until five minutes before the beginning of the service. At that time the doors will be thrown open to the public. As past experience has shown that a large number of people will attend both services, and since the seating capacity of the Chapel is limited, those who are present on Wednesday night are requested not to attend the repetition of the service on Thursday evening.

On Thursday afternoon, the performance will be repeated especially for children. All children of families connected with the University, if accompanied by an older person, are invited to be present.

A Christmas service will also be conducted in the Chapel of Andover Theological Seminary on next Tuesday evening by the Reverend Albert Parker Fitch '00, president of the Seminary, who will read selections from the Scriptures and will preach a Christmas sermon. The Seminary choir under the direction of Dr. Davison, assisted by Miss Marie O'Connell, contralto, and Miss Ruth Stickney, violinist, will present a program of Christmas music.
