NEW HAVEN, CONN., NOV. 22, 1916.-- Practice for the Yale football eleven today consisted in a light scrimmage between the first team and the scrubs. Neville scored two touchdowns for the University team. Following the scrimmage the linemen were given an elementary drill, and Braden, Legore and Neville practised drop-kicking.
Quarterback Smith, who was taken sick just before the Princeton game, was out in uniform again, and Captain Black attended practice in street clothes. La Roche was again in Smith's position, and Galt held down Captain Black's place. Jaques' defensive playing was a feature of the afternoon's work.
