Yesterday in the first game of the Interdormitory hockey series Smith beat Gore by the score of 3 to 2. Before the game Abram French '19, of Newton, was elected captain of the Smith Halls team, and R. S. Wortley '19, of New York, of the Gore Hall team. In the closely contested game which followed Smith had better team-play, and won largely through this characteristic. Heppenheimer's work at goal on Smith and Wortley's forward work for Gore were especially noticeable. The teams lined up in the following order:
Referee W. W.: Rice '18, Goals--Rand, 2; Walker, 1; Wortley, 1; Tilghman, 1.
This afternoon at 3 o'clock Standish and Gore will practice on the river in front of Nowell, while at 3.45 o'clock Smith Halls will practice in the Stadium.
Hard-Boiled Eggs.
In the second game of the semi-final round of the scrub hockey series played yesterday afternoon, the Hard-Boiled Eggs defeated the Oscar II's 6 to 0. The Chuck-a-Pucks will play the Composites in front of the Nowell Boat House this afternoon at 2 o'clock.
