To the Editors of the CRIMSON:
All who had the privilege of knowing Professor M. A. Potter '95, as colleagues or as pupils, found in him a friend exceptionally kindly, with a strong character in a frail body, a man cheerful in suffering, unflinching in the performance of his work, a versatile scholar, generous, broad-minded, and learned in his writings and teachings. Today at one o'clock a service will be held in his memory in Appleton Chapel. Let all come, Faculty and students, to render to our noble friend this last tribute of respect and affection. A COLLEAGUE.
